Piano instruction in a child-centered and nurturing environment that embraces your child's learning style and individual level of ability.

Piano-for-kids music instruction is  based on revolutionary music learning theories and techniques which enable your child to reach his full musical potential.

PROGRAM CONTENT
Program content includes music theory, improvisational techniques, ear training, rhythm pattern identification and sight reading.  Other areas covered are hand position, fingertip technique and body posture.

CLASSES
Programs are offered privately or on a small group basis.  Classes are offered on a weekly basis for a choice of 30, 45 and 60 minute time slots.  Classes meet during the Spring, Fall and Summer.

LOCATION
Lessons are offered in the comfort of a home studio in Rockland County, New York in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State.

            INSTRUCTOR
Instructor Sharon Klein is a New York State Certified Public School Music Teacher and member of the National Association of Music Education, Rockland County Music Educators Association and Rockland County Music Teachers Guild.  Ms. Klein currently is Music Educator for children of all ages with autism and special needs in Bronx, New York.  Ms. Klein is available to assist students in preparation for  NYSSMA piano performances.

Ms. Klein's musical direction is  commended for her outstanding choral concert performances and annual musical performances for children with special needs.

Summer Piano Program
This is a "grand" opportunity to capture a flavor of what it is like to be a piano student!  With a short-term commitment in a more relaxed atmosphere, this program prepares and gives your child a great start for formal music instruction during the school year.

Summer programs are offered privately on a weekly basis or on a comprehensive one-week basis, which meets every morning for one week.  Participation in a summer program earns the student 1 FREE LESSON which may be applied in the Fall or Spring semester.
